This has been a great place to stay with helpful and cheerful proprietors - thank you so much - will have no hesitation in recommending this to others journeying in New Zealand!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. It has been the best accommodation we have stayed in on this journey around NZ. Look forward to seeing you again soon!

We loved the look of the Camelot. The room was also nice and the motel offered us a lot of extras. Laundry facilities, free use of computer with high speed, all the fixings for coffee or tea in a full kitchenette, low rate for taxi drive to airport. The staff was super and we liked staying there.

Attractive looking motel enhanced by colourful flowers. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room on ground floor was very comfortable. There are plenty of eating places nearby with nearby Sophies Cafe great for breakfasts. The motel is about 15 minutes walk from City Centre (if you don't get lost by trying to get there by going thru Hagley Park!). Our room towards back was very quiet.
A definite recommendation.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Good location and the room was very comfortable and clean, we had a kitchenette which was great. Brian the Owner was very friendly and extremely helpful with lots of great information about Christchurch, made us feel very welcome. Laundry facilities were great too. If we return to Christchurch we will be staying here again. Highly recommend.

Brian and Penny welcomed us at mid-day after a very long 12-hour flight from San Francisco. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival when we saw how beautiful this lodge was.

Our one-bedroom downstairs unit was at the far end of the motel and looked onto a quiet residential street. Outside the windows, there was grass and trees and you wouldn't know you were staying at a lodge. The living room furniture was a brightly coloured suede and the dining room chairs were leather, as well as a huge leather lazy boy chair, which one wouldn't expect in a motel unit. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Large TV also.

Outside there were hundreds of multicoloured rose bushes lining the driveway all the way from the office throughout the complex, and by the swimming pool.
