The Best Western Camelot is the best place to stay. We were there for 5 nites and at the end of the Month and the end of our Holiday came back for the final three days to stay with Brian and Penny the Hosts of this adorable Hotel. The location is easy to everything in Christchurch and the stores and great food locations are all around you. The gardens are grand. the Hot tub charming- The staff is friendly and the room /suites are clean and well equipped. everything you need including milk for your tea along with buscuits are included. The hosts are fun and charming and have all the time in the world for their guests and make sure you feel at home . We were 13,000 km away from Home and stayied here which just made us want to stay here longer. We will be back to New Zealand from Canada and will be home to the Camelot and the great hosts Brian and Penny . Try it Please you will love it . We sure did .
LOCATION
Best Western Camelot Motor Lodge is easy to find. Located on the main route into Christchurch from the north and the south, close to Hagley Park and the centre of town.
Driving in to town from the North you will be on the Main North Road which blends in to Papanui Road. Best Western Camelot is the last motel on the left before Bealey Avenue and is opposite Liquor King and the Shell Service Station.
Driving in to town from the South you will be on Blenheim Road and turn left on to Deans Avenue at Hagley Park. Drive down Deans Road through the Riccarton Road roundabout and turn right on to Harpers Avenue and drive along here until you reach the Bealey Avenue lights where you will go straight ahead and then turn left on to Papanui Road. There is a Burger King on tne corner of Papanui Road and Bealey Avenue. Best Western Camelot is the first motel on the right and opposite Liquor King and the Shell Service Station.
Driving from the Airport continue straight through the roundabout and down Memorial Avenue and on to Fendalton Road until you come to Hagley Park where you turn left in to Harpers Avenue. Continue driving until you come to the Bealey Avenue lights where you will go straight ahead and then turn left in to Papanui Road. There is a Burger King on the corner of Bealey Avenue and Papanui Road and Best Western Camelot is the first motel on the right and opposite Liquor King and the Shell Service Station.
